Interesting discussion.
Given the 2 approaches suggested. The question in my mind are what are the potential timelines for each outcome.
If they are say 2 years short and 4 years long, RAC investors may be happy to wait for the big return
Alternatively, say it is 2 years and 8 years, more investors may be happy with the smaller returns.
There is no single or simple answer. The personal view that I have is that I no longer have a clear view of announcements/results that could have significant implications for the share price of RAC. The company appears rudderless, that may be unfair but thats my personal view.
Happy to see alternative views.
