I won’t be surprised if Peter Smith is appointed as CEO. I think PL wanted to go back to NED role as his personal preference.
DT’s role as consultant is vague and may make sense to bring him as ED and CSO. Him providing inputs and the other Directors nodding their heads is meaningless; conversely if said something as a consultant which got voted down from the BOD is a waste of time and only create angst. Also having the biggest investor as a director when any offers come thru, is better to have him at the table than on the outside like Robinhood trying to fight the good fight.
The company seemed to have a definite purpose and clear comms which all SHs liked.
