I got my cheque on Tuesday, My bank details were uploaded also but it is what it is and knew it would arrive at some point after calling them. Id say its a mix of Christmas and new year holiday period and Aus post lacking many staff atm with covid. Even McDonalds on the western ring road has a limited menu and hours from 24 now 5am to 10pm due to staff shortages. I also read yesterday that kfc has had to close some stores and has had to expand its vegan based menu in replacement as there is a huge chicken supply problem, delays are expected everywhere, I needed to quote a job with fire rated plaster paneling and all wholesalers Vic wide are quoting estimates of march to may, nothing in the country, product shortage and staff shortages are also the cause. They were $34 per sheet and when stock arrives they are now $50. Its getting hairy out there all over.
