    I agree with everything you wrote... up until you got to the NOR bit.

    NOR develop products which the market doesn't want and have never wanted on a commercial basis; the Father Mackenzies of IT&T. And based on this history, no worthy IP.

    So what are you hoping for exactly? A government bail-out? Or an Oracle to say we better partner with NOR rather than those untrustworthy Chinese in some sort of binary outcome?

    All imo.
