    I hear a competitor in the works is offering user private messaging for free, along with one-ad only pages etc.

    i don't believe they have price data or announcements though, so it depends what you're looking for.

    Perhaps if VM fails like their other 4 apps, NOR could get into the Forum business? Compete directly with Hotcopper?
