growls without puting words into your mouth my take is as follows

he has bought and sold NOR shares and these are free carried. albeit one still has to buy them they financially owe him little or basically nothing so why not hold them

they are a speccie and anything can happen with speccies especially in this current climate.

for example and i am only postulating here but the holders of the shares may be looking for a backdoor listing for a gold play or perhaps a health play or perhaps they have a new retirement village concept or perhaps nor hit the jackpot and everyone suddenly needs voicemail etc etc

you get my drift

so it cost virtually nothing and he will get virtually nothing so leave it and wait. there is always the tax loss option if all else fails
