I agree; $4.5m is very juicy (expensive) for an App. What is unique about this App? As per the Google article, Google's Speech-to-text engine is used by the VM App.
Do you seriously expect Microsoft to buy an App running on a Google engine? Yeah, nah.
Why haven't Metaswitch developed their own App to date? Hint: Lack of demand; see Spark example or Google case study: the implausible but ultimately comedic case of a sparky in Sydney with Chinese and Thai customers. Think about it for a moment; this is the best example of using their tech NOR could come up with for a case study.
Meanwhile, the SP has been manipulated from $1.50 to $0.016 and the Top50 is... the Top50. Only on the NOR threads folks.
