On another technology matter, I look after finances/tax returns for an elderly family member (turns 102 in June and was in the army in the second World War). She banks with NAB. They have decided not to send her hard copy statements, and of course she has no computer or phone. I don't want Power of Attorney, because she and I value her independence. In my workplace people send emails to colleagues 20 metres away rather than speaking. Their children play computer games rather than talking or kicking a footy. Meanwhile children are killed by drones. Is the world a better place for all this high-tech ?
