That's a week ago - Singtel since claimed not the case.
Initial speculation was $16B, but it's believed by some that Brookfield are waiting on Nor deals, increasing to $18B, Nor's offerings are that good, and set to increase Optus' value by over 10%.
The HY report sounded extremely promising, the way Nor stated deals and "implementation of Norwood’s platform and applications across Singtel and the entirety of its operating companies."
