Nice deflection. All you can do is try to pull me up on 50x v. 1/50th (0.02 is 1/50th of 1.00; 0.02*50 = 1.00)
Back to the topic from my post:
""Our CogVoice platform spends most of its time using models that are one tenth to a fiftieth of the cost of the old GPT-4-turbo, so we still have a healthy economic advantage."
This is quoted from PO in Matt's post. Think about this logically. If these claims were even remotely true then:
1. Why wouldn't NOR announce it to the market? Little Perth tech spec is better than ChatGPT. What would that do to the SP?
2. After investing $billions in OpenAI and $0 in NOR why would:
i. Microsoft promote NOR at risk of cannibalizing their OpenAI investment?
ii. Just acquire NOR for $50m. Pocket change. All big holders make profit and can exit."
Now whilst I have your attention, Spark NZ people are presenting at 3 different sessions at DTW24.
1. How Can We Leverage AI to Enable New Revenue...
2. What Partnerships Are Driving New Opportunities?
3. How to Disassemble OSS to Enhance Network Flexibility, Scalability, And Interoperability?
The immutable facts:
1. Spark NZ is NOR's only telco client with material revenue
2. Spark NZ have white-labelled NOR's VM. This App hasn't been updated since Aug/23, well before VM was branded as CogVoice.
3. Spark NZ exec interviewed by AWS (Amazon) exec and former NOR partner, Oracle is also involved in this session.
If Spark NZ are seeking to leverage AI to enable new revenues, is the fact they haven't installed any of the CogVoice Agents bullish or bearish for NOR? And if NOR have hung out the shingle for Call Screener on AWS, why hasn't Spark NZ promoted/purchased this app too?
Imo... bearish. Very.
As I've always proven, it is very easy to conduct due diligence on NOR to:
1. Validate their claims/bullish forward looking statements or
2. Assist HC members to test their bias confirmation/thesis.
