Yep, I'd want to see some data on it but anecdotally I check my voicemail about once a fortnight now where I used to check it multiple times a day five years ago. Voicemail, visual or otherwise will stop being a thing anywhere in the next decade I reckon.
The AI stuff discussed in your links seems to be used to provide help to customers about services, really it's replacing self help menus and probably expanding that kind of thing. Norwood trying to manage spam calls, redirect calls and provide booking sheets seems almost clunky with the useful bits having been stripped away and offered natively for free on devices.
I still think there might be use for some of Norwoods tech, but the delays in getting anything commercially ready are seeing it become more and more niche.
