to be honest i dont get the confusion.
if i recall the numbers correctly, outcome is quite clear that in financial terms partiess end up net net, but with labcon having the added benefit of clean stock which assuming quality was an issue is only reasonable (the little fudge also allows each party to maintain a little face)
question for me is labcon motives. if we take this as a reset, labcons downpayment on more stock should be a sign of confidence they remain committed to bluchiips potential. cynical view could be that taking the stock and writing it off is still potentially its least cost option out of this mess.
each holders choice i guess.
for me most importantly, it cleans the air for bct's next deal which is ultimately determine whether bct sinks or swims, with the potential upside if we swim significant.
