There does seem to be a new wave of negativity surrounding the stock and my belief is that it is linked to general uncertainties in the market particularly given the surging oil prices and concerns over global inflation.

Regarding the issue of lenders having a stake in the company (JP Morgan and CBA for example), I wondered how this would affect the recapitalisation process as posed this as a questions to investor services. I was told that the banking arm and investing arm of these institutions are largely independent from each other and this would have minimal impact on decisions by the lenders.

I know I am stating the obvious but the future of the company depends on the prices it can get from asset sales, the loan/value ratio the banks consider to be acceptable, and the ongoing performance of assets and that of the broader economy.

I hold the stock and am hoping for the best possible outcome. I just hope they start making some good progress soon because without this there will be continual downward pressure on the SP and I am not sure how much I can take.
