Previous Mindesk releases for Rhino and Solidworks will be generating ongoing revenue - VW is a customer, for example, along with Universities and Architects. My understanding is that a number of customers are on the Enterprise plan, and may run customised versions of the software co-developed to suit their particular needs. The Rhino/Grasshopper version in particularly popular with computational designers.

My hope with Revit, is that it’s something that will appeal to a larger market as an off-the-shelf subscription software. A key feature which should help drive adoption is the direct live-link from Revit to Unreal (for high-end photo-realistic rendering). As for numbers, your guess is as good as mine. It will need good marketing, useful features and provide clear value to architects/designers through time savings, error reduction, remote collaboration etc.
