It's exciting seeing the progress with VR in training. I work as a firefighter in Queensland, recently in the last 12 months VR tech has been brought into our recruit school. To finish your training you have to do a series of live fire compartment burns, which can cost upwards of $5000 per burn due to fuel, safety and overtime. The VR tech is now used a stepping stone before fighting an actual fire and allows recruits to practice water application in a safe and relatively str ess free environment (aside from instructors yelling)

all up I beleive there are 3 sets, with scope in the future to expand to 4 sets per region in Queensland, eith 7 different regions.

this tech was developed with dealing uni and QUT.

also ex military and police, both those industries are screaming for VR and AR to assist with training and operations
