But the departments for drilling also completely different. Offshore water you apply to a nation body - National offshore energy regulator. nopsema.

On shore you apply to you own states( Victoria) department for that.
Resources Victoria . You will get a better answer from them they will actually answer a phone , email and have a operating website!


And that's before having having the money to drill it.

Cooper ( or beach)would be a more reliable entity to ask about drilling this well. Much more in tune with things that old lakes oil.
