It looks like GM have shut down an EV manufacturing plant because they can't get enough Ultium batteries. The article says they have four years worth of orders for EVs but they can't build them without batteries. If GM are having this problem, then other OEMs may also be having the same issue. Perhaps if they'd invested in mining and battery manufacture a few years ago when Sam the prophet warned them about this problem they might not be forced to shut down production.
