This is the second large project announced by this Govt. ( See ARU ann last week) There is a real desire to get Pit to Product projects up and running. There is also and emphasis on loans and assistance with financing rather than grants.
Any new project that thought sending ore overseas was a desirable alternative should rethink. After reading it does anybody know of a battery minerals mining company that once had a vision to make the batteries here and even incorporate a recycling project. Or was that more of the BS we have been fed over the years. Heres hoping I am wrong and my cynicism is unfounded,
