in the simplest terms... if they were able to extract all 2 million ozs and that the planned to extract 200,000 ozs over ten years. then you have $340 mill revenue but probably around $100 mill profit.
10 yrs x $100 mill is $1 bill profit less the cost of the plant to build $400 mill = $600 mill profit. How much will you buy that company for? $600 mill? then you will wait 10 years and take all the risk and make zero profit. $300 mill? you would make $300 mill over 10 years. mmmm getting warmer. $200 mill to make 200% on your money? much better.

Howdy mate. The question was about the blocking of any saleto a predator.and how that may be blocked by Anglo American.IMO with thestragestic holding by Anglo, a miner of repute with assets and cash I do see a blockingposition. Most of your reply appears to be supposition,resources and mining rates p.a. Regards.TW.
