    I do not have any other insight apart from relying on the JMS website which quotes the manganese price in FOB terms. This means of course that the buyer must meet the freight cost from the original port of loading. This is opposed to CIF whereby the supplier must meet the shipping cost.

    Shipping charges spiked last year (covid related) and I can't recall this being mentioned in JMS announcements as an issue of concern. Their last announcement concerning a dividend from Tshipi only mentions the mines low cost of operations with no mention of increased freight costs. I therefore suspect that their contracts are FOB agreements.
