One blogger did recently lower their buy on AGY, but I think they’re wrong based on the lack of hype around the stock, seeing it as more safe than short term overperform against other new producers. Seems like a safe buy with an option that it could rocket up to 80c and then gain hype.

Personally, I’m back up to 180% of base, and within 10% of my high watermark, and planning to go higher (splitting between this and Piedmont) if my SGML sells fire, be nice to get to 200-250% and move more into Argentina over Brazil. I do regret not at least successfully suppressing adhd impulses until the much more technically solid Friday the other day when selling for nuclear prep (including mostly cashing up for the longer term as even a massive crisis would see markets survive), one of those rare moments of consciously choosing an emotion I felt was intellectually wrong. That’s a lot harder to swallow than being unemotional. Several small mistakes recently, despite good broad strokes in selling Sigma near top, dumping LAC and buying AGY further back.

Still, AGY has been great at keeping up my +100% TTM death march. Great ride up from 40c. 80c by EOY? Maybe, maybe not. Gotta remember we’re in a bear market for better and worse!
