Any investor who is seriously upset or panicky about the ups and downs along the way isn’t really paying attention to the longer-term price action and/or is not being honest about their intention to actually “invest” in this company.

One typically “invests” for an extended horizon, perhaps months or often years. One typically “invests” based on anticipated fundamental growth in the business, and REAL evolution of its operations etc.

Have a look at the chart and show me how the current price action is surprising or unexpected, especially when combined with the broader market and specific short-term interests (eg shorts).

An investor might be a bit annoyed by buying a bit early/late and experiencing a short-term drop and some red on their portfolio, but that is absolutely separate from the actual basis of investing i.e. the fundamental growth of a business/company.

Some people need to have a hard think about whether they are truly an investor, or are stuck in an emotionally-charged place that is actually more towards a short-med term trading mentality.

Imo the 2018/19 dip was a lesson in buying quality stocks at heavily discounted prices. Those who did so are now laughing, and know the “panic” is ultimately short-lived. Investors not focussed on their investment horizon and company goals/milestones get eaten by the sharks.
That appears to be many, btw.

Those here talking about doom and gloom for EV sales etc haven’t done enough homework imo. The information is out there, try @Stephan90 posts for a great summary of sales/production detail and trends. The data doesn’t lie. The year on year growth is unstoppable at this point, and huge waiting lists act as a significant buffer to shorter-term macro “issues”.
