It’s always been my understanding from previous announcements that the Stg 3 ponds will be constructed South of the Altipano Solar farm, approx 3km from the existing ponds.
I note that every 2 years the salt needs to be removed from the existing ponds as the build reduces the capacity of the ponds.
Maybe this new pond is to ensure that we remain at our 2ktpa capacity whilst the existing ponds get their bi-annual grease and oil change.
