* ASX-300 Index Funds
* All-Ords Index Funds
When we enter the ASX-200 (possibly over the next year), then the ASX200 Index funds will have to buy in too.
So, dont you worry, the type of action we have seen over the last month is very much indicative of heavy institutional buying. As is much of the short-selling you are obsessed with. Many will be buying and selling at the same time - the idea being to hold the price back as they take position. In the end they gain a net increase in holdings, without spooking the s/price. Essentially illegal, but plenty of loopholes to still do.
