If the market sees some general headwinds in the coming weeks/months, then yes we will likely see some downward pressure on the share price, but that will also be felt across the board; and imo more so by those companies that are in more precarious situations wrt risk, debt etc.
As a near-term producer, with very significant catalysts in the pipeline for the coming months, we are in a very enviable position from which to ride out whatever happens in the broader market. The tide will move all boats, as usual, but imo if there is a period of sh!te, then we will surely come out the other side charging towards expansion etc as we expect.
Imo it will be a very different story for those juniors who are basically sitting there pointing to their tiny samples of lab product and waiting for someone to drop $500M-$1B into their lap.
Very different indeed.
It’s funny how MCHammer and the milkman show up when there’s a bit of red, claiming the sky is falling and nonsensically claiming this is somehow related to AGY fundamentals. Laughable really.
For me, the fact that our commercial plant has produced BG product, is a key derisking milestone. I don’t think the market, in general, really understands how significant this is. Not some lab-scale benchtop process, but full-size plant and equipment, out on the salar in the middle of nowhere. The full process. Well-to-bag.
Now, imo, it is simply just a matter of time before the plant is running continuously, and those next milestones towards expansion are hit.
Imagine being a financier (or some other potential strategic partner/investor) and comparing a company that has some kg of lab samples with next-to-zero real-world Li brine experience, to a company being run by a bloke who has spent year after year after year delivering BG product from a commercial operation and has now built his own “starter” plant that is actually knocking out product, tonne after tonne…??
It’s chalk and cheese. Seriously.
Imo the snowball will gather size and pace rather quickly, when it starts to get moving! Time will tell.
