"Credit Suisse will stabilise as does SVB etc etc, all short term stuff, its very different to GFC because money is being injected non-stop and liquidity has no issue."

This is not a bailout. Just because USB has been forced at gunpoint to take over CS, it does not mean all will be back to normal anytime soon.

"UBS and Credit Suisse are both in a group of the 30 global systemically important banks watched closely by regulators, and Credit Suisse's failure would have rippled throughout the entire financial system. Anything that happened to Credit Suisse would have been of a systemic nature, because banks deal with each other … which is why we can't afford to let Credit Suisse fall," RMIT associate professor of finance Angel Zhong"

According to FINMA who approved the takeover of CS, even said the recent measures to stabilise Credit Suisse were not enough to restore confidence in the bank and that more far-reaching options were examined.

Also the deal is expected to close at the end of 2023. Producing lithium or not, AGY has a long wait to recover in the current financial climate, along with most of the market. It's not an open and shut case and the collapse of Credit Suisse will be felt for a while yet.

Get your deposits back for those yachts, I don't think fair value for being a lithium producer will be realised until next year now, IMO.
