    UBS tips lithium supply to nearly double by 2025

    UBS said new supply from China and Latin America could see total lithium carbonate equivalent (LEC) supply nearly double between 2022 and 2025.In total, it estimated around 2 million tonnes of LCE may be online by 2025.However, the broker said the recent collapse in lithium prices may have bottomed out and has kept buy ratings on Allkem, Mineral Resources, IGO Ltd, Liontown Resources and Wesfarmers, with a neutral rating on Pilbara Minerals.

    And it will need to Keep Doubling.
