I honestly believe that things will right themselves later this year (maybe even early next year), however my personal expectations have been significantly tempered. I think it will be a slower grind back up and I'm expecting dilution with the strategic funding deal. My sentiment is hold for now, but as I've stated previously, if it heads back up to 40-50c on nothing more than TA, I'll be selling at least half of my holding. Additionally, if there's no notable progress by the next quarterly (late October), I'll sell half regardless of the price as there's only so much tingling my spidey senses can take.
It's important to note though that my actions/intent are based on my own needs and goals. I've got a timeframe in mind with very specific goals, so preservation of capital is important to me. If I had an open ended timeframe (and a smaller current holding), then I would probably be buying more right now. But I'm now down $243k (30%) from my average price (around 40c). And I'm currently quite torn with what to do from here.
I was down a similar amount with GLN in March, and I finally said enough and sold at 92c. I've since recovered the $200k I was down on GLN through investing that capital in a few Australian and Canadian spod explorers/producers. And GLN's now at 80c. I held GLN way longer than I should have, when there were better opportunities. I'm glad I worked up the guts to sell, and it proved to be the right decision. Unfortunately I feel that I've probably repeated the mistake of holding too long here, mainly because I believed that JZ would come through (he still might, I just don't think the market believes it anymore).
I don't think we're at "save yourself if you can". But the relentless delays, communication issues and missteps leave me doubting the company's ability to deliver the 10 ktpa expansion, let alone anything else. Anyway, I'm now just strapped in for the ride with everyone else for the time being.
