Haha I was going to say the same thing as soon as I read it too... but didn't because I would have been shit on again. He's being generically optimistic, obviously, but not really assertive at all... sounds like he's 'hoping' just the same as the rest of us. Would have been good to hear a confirmation that things are on track. In saying that I don't know what the original email was, so I can't be all that critical when I don't know the whole context.
