Bad doors and hindsight have hurt me over the years but as you said the ability get better over time.
I bought PLS on my super at 32c and sold at 19c, wasn't much as I am still young but it would have been a massive jump in my super had I held on.
I chose not to buy CHN at 20c back in the day and missed the chance to turn $5k into around $200k in a very short amount of time
Just a few of my bad luck moments but I currently sit with a average of 9.5c at LTR and have cashed in a few bags over the years at different companies that have run well for me.
Patience and persistence is needed to help one learn what door to take but everyone has their stories unfortunately haha
