Why was the container of lithium never sold to the Japanese customer, when they flagged their intention to do so pending the qualification process being successful? This is a clear piece of evidence that points to the qualification process not being successful (at least for that customer).

You don't have a single piece of evidence to show that AGY's product has ever been fully qualified by any customer, let alone meeting a "tight spec". So once more, you are passing off your opinion as fact. If you can show anything that states that AGY's product successfully completed the qualification process for a customer, by all means post it here. If not, take a seat and stop spinning yarns.
