Yes Argentina has gone to shit with its politics and add in talks of a tax on lithium mining profits, AGY will definitely feel the heat, as will other smaller companies in the region. The big boys will be able to weather it, IMO, but the smaller start-ups will have a rough time. Decreasing lithium prices, increasing expansion capex year on year due to inflation and rising costs, talks of imposing lithium tax, can't catch a break. If only AGY were actually "fast tracked" and in a more advanced position, perhaps they too would be able to weather the possibly impending storm. We'll find out at the end of this month, would be very positive for AGY if the tax doesn't get imposed. Some sort of updated feasibility study would be nice to see what they're working with... wish they had sorted that out sooner, but won't get that for a while yet.
