I was talking to someone I know who works at a top well know investment firm. They were saying when the shorts pile into a growth industry the shorts do so in difficult times in order to create a false outlook. They manipulate the sector and target retail as the tactics are usually clear to those in the know. It was an interesting conversation and my guess is that is what we are seeing.

you need to ask yourself why the billionaires are buying up lithium stocks and lithium reserves at the moment. The shorts are creating a fire sale for them.
