if i was a complete arsehole and I had say 50 million shares and I wanted to increase my holdings to 5.5% or 80 million shares, because I believed they were worth 80c in a year, I'm not going to buy them on the market at 70c, I would put them up for rent, get 5% return for the year from a broker and let them short the crap out of them and then buy more on market at 17c.
am I missing something here?
