China's Tianqi Lithium Corp said on Monday that it is monitoring the situation. Tianqi said that it mainly sources lithium from Australia's Greenbushes mine, and it doesn't import lithium carbonate or other lithium products from Chile, domestic news portal thepaper.cn reported.
If the Chinese go in there, you're right it will probably happen quickly, as they seem to be able to make sh.t happen.
But until then it seems like a question mark on global supplies.
Like I said, everyone sees the signs they want to see.
All I know, is that If the governments around the world, put a stop to the EV transition, then that will be a global warming denial, with much egg on many faces...imo..
