Key inflation data in the US is lower than expected. This is the data directly linked to the Fed and interest rate adjustments. Interest rates link back to vehicle sales and demand ie lithium demand. With inflation cooling off the fed is likely to stop or reverse interest rate hikes which will result in more demand for new and EV vehicles. This is why we are seeing an uplift in stocks overnight.
