The new technology would appear to be lithium solid state of which there is a front runner with some investors with very very deep pockets. There’s more than double the lithium required from these cells so expect battery grade lithium prices to be high for a while. There’s nothing to be glum about investing in lithium at the moment - what manufacturer isn’t committed to making EV???
