AGY don't need an offtake desperately , although the company is working towards one. Anything AGY produce will be bought.
Both the company AGY sent 20T to and Mitsui will buy what ever AGY produce unfortunately however they will not fund any expansion.
In saying that though AGY has announced several companies/funds looking to invest. It's only a matter of what deal is best for the company, and the longer the company waits the better the bargaining power gets for the company, ie Lithium carbonate prices increase and they get closer to production.
Increased resource size will certainly help and they should have that done and dusted, I think, within 6 months.
AGY is a steal at these prices. Will be making over AUD 20 million PA ( that's their share ) in a year from now. They will certainly get funding for upgrade to 12,000TPa before 2000 T plant is running. That makes possible profits in the 150 Million PA region... and you can then work out the market cap from there, but $1.00 per share is certainly achievable within 24 months or less.
So invest and sit back and wait. Make 5-6 times your investment in 2 years...
One thing I think will happen within the next 3-4months is that funds will come in one week and buy buy buy... the SP will possible shot up 25-30% in a week. Retail ïnvestors" need to get in before they do.
