What do you mean by that mate? To my knowledge the 2ktpa plant had always been intended to be funded by a partner along with an offtake. A favourable deal could not be made (if you buy that excuse from JZ) therefore their hand was forced to raise the money themselves.

From August 2020 (3.5yrs ago):

'I'm personally not convinced a tier 1 customer is earmarked as Company guidance went from 'finalising tier one customer' to 'finalising the process for tier one selection' (or words of that effect).'

I also quote from the June investor presentation, "Off-take currently quarantined for strategic process"

Wording changes too often, one can assume to keep it vague, as nobody actually knows what stage they're at. From memory they finally did admit to customer pending approvals of expansion. Correct me if I'm wrong, I can have another look later.

So the 2k plant is built and paid for, Argosy seeks finance for the 10k expansion only yes? Why should customer step in and assist with the 2k operation/commissioning is my point. What's in it for them, do you believe they'd be happy with paying upfront for product they aren't even sure can be deliveried?

The 2k plant was supposed to be the derisking stage by stage proof of concept for the customer as I read this but the plant isn't operational as yet. This is a risk for potential customers imo.
