I simply wanted to highlight that, in my perspective, two days of elevated volume, despite closing with no significant change, currently lacks meaningful significance.

Upon reviewing the chart, it becomes evident that on several occasions this year, increased buying activity immediately preceded subsequent sell-offs. Additionally, shorts are increasing again, with a 60% rise in the last seven weeks (from 3% to 4.79%). The volume at these prices is also context-dependent. A 10 million share volume day at current prices represents approximately $900,000 of buyer interest. Six months ago, it was common to see several million dollars' worth of buys in a day, which wasn't considered high volume. Thus, evaluating $900,000 in daily buying over two consecutive days on a relative basis makes it challenging to draw definitive conclusions. We'll need to watch how the situation unfolds.

On a positive note, most lithium companies are performing well in the US overnight, though it's still two hours until close. It's encouraging to witness some positive sentiment toward Argentinian brine plays today, with ALTM and LAAC showing gains of 3% and 5%, respectively. Hopefully, this translates favourably for AGY today.
