You'd spend enough to ensure you get it to the point of continuous production in the first place, before scaling up, as they intended by their own words. No one said anything about a bottomless pit, that's your words trying to spin it as some sort of excuse or reason.

You mean "job done" for only half the job, right? It was not there to solely send product to customers for testing. It's literally in black and white straight from the man himself.

But don't let facts get in the way of a good debate I suppose.
