No sweetheart, I don’t smoke (or chew) and I never have. If you’re using substances (legal or otherwise) to cope with investment losses, then you should get out as the game isn’t for you.

The reason I share my losses is because I prefer to be honest about how things play out, whether that makes me look good or bad. I think a little more honesty is refreshing here, someone had to be buying at higher levels and we can’t all pretend that we maintain a 3c average buy in as some would have you believe.

As far as my recent losses go, I had to make it to lose it, so I don’t lose sleep over any losses. I take a pragmatic view and invest accordingly. When it goes bad though, I don’t disappear or pretend I’m still in profit like 90% of holders here.

And most importantly, on a percentage basis I certainly haven’t handed back as much capital as you have through holding on. Crowing about the overall scale of someone’s losses simply because they had more to invest than you is sad, grubby and a little envious.
