What makes you think a bot won't hit a $30,000 or $60,000 buy or sell if the volume for it's price target becomes available in one hit?
It all depends on the parameters that are being set in its program, so it's not common on slow days, but when the volume is picking up and the bot is told to shift gear, or one bot "outsmarts" another bot. I don't think I'm so naive as to think, "it's all retail" doing the selling.
