Make no mistake the Chinese gov is underpinning downwards pressure on price and resultant capture of market.
They do it by stealth, they build complete industrial parks and pay for infrastructure etc.
It can't go on forever because you can't keep making 99.5% waste that isn't environmentally friendly and has no alternate use path. It will run out at some point.
In the process they will have destroyed high cost producers and high cost new projects as well as the same in manufacturing or orucessing.
The Chinese cant defeat the west militarily so they do it economically.
Unfortunately Ford and GM are happy for this to happen because the slowdown saves them being so far behind.
We need interest rates to start coming down so more people buy cars and at least some western EV makers targeting the $20-30k range.
Australua is borked because the gov has driven house prices and rent up through too high immigration. The ALP just like the democrats importing votes.
