I’m surprised you can spell manners if you don’t even understand what minimise means @Rotane. But I digress.

I was talking about capital preservation, not “value” preservation. and yes, I have preserved more capital by moving my funds over to WR1, rather than holding here.

Last big parcel here was sold at 14.5c, to add to my WR1 position at 88c. I’m currently down 8% on that decision, while holding here would of resulted in a 39% loss.

Reality tells us that some stocks perform much worse than others, as AGY has in this example. I’m not sure why you keep bringing it up as if you pursued the superior option. I’ll take an 8% loss over a 39% loss any day of the week.
