Guys, even though there are some inconvenient statements in sdaji's post, we should accept that fair is fair, and give him/her credit for what they say. It's all well founded. The only argument you could have with him is re how long it will take to reach nameplate.

Why he may not be an investment guru (although we don't know) is that he may have fallen for the same we have. Here for AGY or in other stocks, we have actually believed that we know better than the rest of the market but then the stock went down. We can claim that it fell prey to manipulation (rarer imho than typically quoted and more often used as an excuse for a stock not meeting one's expectations) OR we lived in hope for too long that due to our special knowledge things will turn around. Then they don't but we continue to hold in the hope that our superior analytical skills will prove the market wrong, but it keeps going down. It can be fraught with danger, betting against but of course it can also deliver extraordinary returns.

Certainly been there, done that (firmly holding on and believing), as late as two weeks ago when I bought more AGY at 9.5 thinking that's a good buy. No longer so sure.

Especially the ones here who will at first sight shout down anyone with a contrarian view would do much better if occasionally they'd use a decent post to sanity check that their investment hypothesis and assumptions are still intact.

There are of course some that you can happily put on ignore. That may well be a hallmark of a good investor too: Knowing whoo listen to and who to ignore.
