Announcement today says the alternate theory within coohee, but for the wrong reasons.
I guessed they were keeping quiet, either making progress slow because the price was low, or keeping a lid on the production values to aggressively ramp up the time.
They decided to pull the plug today to preserve capital, and focus on the 10ktpa.
This time around, I entertained devil's advocate, however, didn't put together a robust explanation. The answer was simpler... just didn't make financial sense to chase the 2ktpa nameplate. The unknown is how long ago they made that decision?
Now I'm left holding the bag with two options: Keep holding... or sell and eat the loss and try to make the money back elsewhere.
Time to re-assess the investment for AGY, from scratch, and see if it still makes sense.
