But you're right, it does go to show that the production costs curves that show brine operations at the low end seem somewhat skewed by the fact that existing brine operations (e.g Albermarle, Arcadium and SQM) are some of the largest and most refined operations on earth. Scale seems to be the key, rather than inherently cheaper production.
