Consider for a moment that in the last month, 15m share purchases were shorts closing out their positions. It's clearly acted as support for the share price. What happens when that support is gone, and you're still waiting for the next upward leg, because it's coming later, rather than sooner?

Never mind, I already know the answer - "I'll just buy more".

Agree with you, mate. Short is kind of like a pulley if you know how to use it well. It will help you boost the share price at the right moment back up by a good story and result of that particular company.
