It's been posted before by others and myself why 10kt is economical at this low cycle and 2kt isn't. It's basic maths.
If you read the announcements and had any correspondence you should of picked up that the new strategy is 10kt with learnings from 2kt. Not persisting making 2kt work.
Yes funding will be hard but maybe take the strategic investment as a possible indicator of where a funder wants them to go.
Yes the fast track was unique and made sense and would of worked but they delayed themselves into a low cycle. If there was due diligence around the engineering it may have turned out different.
